I strongly believe in continued education. I’m certified in the Keratin and Brazilian Smoothing Systems, the Chi Transforming Straightener and Head Shape Matters Cutting System. I specialize in all aspects of blondes, grey coverage, and color corrections. During consultations, I will give you an honest answer and steer you in the right direction to achieve your desired outcome. I cherish my client base and love meeting new client’s to bring into the Nikki Taylor Salon Family. I have two beautiful daughters, Nikki and Taylor, which the salon is named after.
ALLYSON TIPPETT

I enjoy all aspects of the hair industry. I specialize in several coloring techniques including highlights, lowlights, fashion shades, and gray coverage. I’m certified in the Keratin Smoothing System and enjoy seeing the look on my client’s face when I transform them into their desired style. I also love teaching my clients different techniques to achieve a great blow out so you are able to replicate the salon look. In my free time I love being a wife and mother of two beautiful girls.

My goal in the profession is to provide exceptional customer service and to customize the services that will best meet your needs. I excel in all aspects of color and specialize in Bob haircuts. I love what I do, and am excited to share my passion with you. I have three beautiful children that keep me very active in my down time.
TRACY SEAGRAVES

I have been doing hair since 1986. Listening and honest consultation are of the upmost importance to me to ensure the targeted outcome. I have been transforming women’s Unruly and frizzy hair with chemical permanent straighteners for more than 10 years now and The results are remarkable! While I am well-versed in cutting current trends and classy look, my passion lies within the formulation and application of hair color. Whether it be a root touchup, highlights, or a corrective color, my mastery of skills is the key to my continued success.

I am trained and certified in two straightening treatments, the Keratin and the Brazilian Blowout. I enjoy color enhancements, haircuts, and formal hair for weddings and proms when my schedule allows. Keeping up with new trends helps with fresh new ideas. New trends are not for everyone. An honest consultation by me is a must. I enjoy meeting new people and helping them feel good about themselves. I feel I establish relationships with my clients. They are not just “another person, another dollar”.

MYRLA HADDOCK

Myrla has been licensed since 2010 and enjoys everything about doing hair. She enjoys getting to know her clients to help her bring out their inner beauty. She’s always searching to educate herself on the newest techniques to achieve your hair goals, while also maintaining the integrity of your hair. Outside of work, she enjoys baking, cooking, gardening, serving at her church and most of all, spending time with her family.
TAYLOR MITCHELL

Growing up in a family of hairstylists, it was an easy choice to follow in my mom and sisters footsteps. I love creating natural dimensional colors, lived in Balayages / Babylights, and fun fashion colors. I’m certified in the keratin Smoothing System and love seeing the transformations from curly unruly hair to smooth straight tresses. Any spare time I have is spent at Kerr Lake.

I love being a stylist and having the opportunity to make a client feel beautiful and confident. My goal is for you to feel comfortable, understood, and important. The services I specialize in are highlights and dimensional coloring. In my spare time I enjoy camping and spending time with my six grandchildren.
SHANNON McGRATH

Making hair dreams come true for over 10 years I can’t wait to see the smile on my clients face when I am done with their service! I am a Master Colorist and know exactly how to get your desired look. I specialize in foiling techniques with both highlights and lowlights and customize my foil placement to your specific look. I enjoy anything from funky colors to gray coverage and customizing your cut to give you the right look for you! I am also certified in men’s cuts and styles and enjoy adding them to my client family with open arms! Growing up I was always the one who was playing with everyone’s hair in the family and being the one on the sports teams braiding everyone’s hair before a game. These memories and more made me realize at a young age that the hair industry was going to be my “home”. Having owned my own Salon in Rhode Island to now transferring to the beautiful state of North Carolina I cannot wait to build my new client family. When I am not behind the chair I enjoy spending time with my Husband chasing our three children around the house and going from activity to activity. I look forward to meeting and serving you all in the near future!
